My 10 yr. old grandson's 5th grade class went to the zoo. Sounds like fun huh? My daughter went along with some other moms so each could have a group of 3 to 4 children each. Come to find out the children and mom's had a horrible...

Celestiamoon I remember when I was younger having to do work for field trips ... I think that the work came after the trip though. So that we could enjoy the trip but were told to pay attention to particular things. AS far as I can remember anyways it's been a while since...

I have thought a lot about this actually. I see women all the time (and some men) who are walking or jogging, with earphones on and their ipod going. They can't hear anything but their music. Someone could come up behind them and...

ellie333 I have also thought this when seeing them, they would not be able to hear traffic when crossing the road or anything really so I feel it is very unsafe indeed. We do all think it won't happen to us but like you say it does and often. I was attacked from behind...

KarenO52 I tried walking once while listening to music on earphones. I had the volume up pretty high, and was enjoying myself when all of a sudden I felt a sharp pain in my rear. A neighbor's dog had run up behind me and bit, pretty hard, though the skin wasn't broken...
