As an elementary kid I saved up odds and ends of change so that I could buy a rose bush at the grocery store. It was potted in a...

I made the most amazing discovery last week. I have taken Gabapentin for a couple of years since I had breast cancer and a partial lung removed. It worked well for nerve pain.
But for a good while now I've been really concerned...

Once again, health issues and strange schedules are causing my family to change plans for celebrating a day together. We did Easter late...and now we will do Mother's Day late, too.
Oldest son, his oldest boy has an out of town...

I know that the pollen count is exceptionally high right now. I hope that is why I have a sore throat and a tickle of a cough.
If it is pollen allergies I have only made them worse, because I have mowed twice.
You did know I...

Remember me telling you a while back what a "snacklebox" is?
It's a tackle box, like you use for fishing lures or sewing notions and bobs, but you fill it with snacks to take on a trip with me.
Cheaper than buying snacks in...

I decided that I like foaming hand soap better than regular gel soap.
My friend got me 5 or 6 of the nice pretty scented ones from Bath & Body Works for Christmas.
I just used up one of the bottles (Pumpkin Spice) and the bottle...

I have read in a few places that adding a few ice cubes to your washer can help with stain removal and also help to clean your washer. I am curious about that hack. The other one is to put ice cubes in your dryer to help...

Heather Echola All I can think of is that the ice cubes are mildly abrasive and that is why they would clean the washer. Back in ancient history when I worked at a restaurant we cleaned our coffee carafe's with ice, salt and lemon wedges. You migh t try applying lemon juice...
