Is Weather crazy where you live this Year?

LightninStrike @LightninStrike (5915) • Saint Vincent And The Grenadines 16 Jun 08

I live in the North coast of Spain. Winters here in the coast are not really cold, but fresh, and very rainy. Then normally springs and autumns are a bit warmer and moderatedly humid. And finally, summers are drier and hot, but...

LightninStrike @LightninStrike (5915) • Saint Vincent And The Grenadines 28 Jun 07

Here in Spain things have changed a lot at shcool in the last 20 or 30 years. Teachers used to be like dictators, always very distant and imperative, and they could even bump their pupils when they considered it necessary....

arkaf61 I kind of remember that time, although to be honest I have to say that I wasn't affected by that personally. Maybe I was just lucky but m time in school was not one under a strict dictatorship - although if we think about it the whole country was under a...

LightninStrike @LightninStrike (5915) • Saint Vincent And The Grenadines 22 Jun 07

I was listening to the news on the radio this morning, and they were saying that UK's Prime Minister Tony Blair might convert himself to the Catholic rite soon, once he is no longer the PM. His wife, Cherry, is a catholic, and he...

Do you leave TIPS at BARS and RESTAURANTS?

LightninStrike @LightninStrike (5915) • Saint Vincent And The Grenadines 18 Jun 07

I only do it when the service has been good and the food too. I think it's unfair to leave a tip when you haven't received what you really deserved as a customer...How about you guys?

mummymo I do - when i am out! I always try to leave a tip - if a waiter or waitress has been very good I would leave more! I work in a pub (well I do when I am fit!) and it is really nice when someone gives you a tip - and of course I always deserve it cos I am good...

add_im Exactly! just when we're almost giving up our faith, that's when we build up back our confidence and the more strength we see in the long run that helps us gain much more confidence and helps us back in track in life. :-)

Are you a Spender or a Saver?

LightninStrike @LightninStrike (5915) • Saint Vincent And The Grenadines 12 Jun 07

In my group of friends there are people i'd define as Savers, and others i'd define as Spenders. Savers also spend of course, but they have a more conservative vision of things, so they always save a bit just in case. Spenders...

linzmcwilliams I'm definately a saver, especially since i'm going to Uni in September. I've been working out my budget and it's going to be very tight! I put most of my salary in the bank and only really spend on things that i need, for example a Fathers Day present!

rhinoboy I prefer sunny days, as it allows you to get outdoors and enjoy some fresh air. I much prefer rain to wind though. Even in the rain you can get outside with waterproofs etc. When it's windy, you can't even put anything down without chasing around after it!
