With millions of people selling on E-bay, isn’t the competition too much?

FrostBittenFruit @FrostBittenFruit (69) • United States 17 Dec 06

I just looked into selling on e-bay for my arts and craft items. I find myself overwhelmed by the amount of people selling and buying on e-bay. With this many people doing business on one site, doesn’t that also mean people...

Logodae If you can paint well, that's a versatile skill. You just need to find a niche that isn't already occupied... and don't try to compete on price. Produce high-quality stuff and price it high, too. The people you want to sell to aren't the bargain-shoppers...

I don't want to lose my girlfriend... What do I do?

smilekeith @smilekeith (248) • United States 17 Dec 06

Last week, my girlfriend and I had a talk. Mainly her talk, and my listen. She told me she's been concerned, and is on the fence as far as our relationship goes. In her mind, I am not driven and not as ambitious as I should. She...

Logodae Well, any ideas about what you WOULD jump out of bed for? BTW, you might be interested in reading some of Steve Pavlina's stuff (www.stevepavlina.com). I haven't been impressed by most "personal development" gurus, but he's got some good insights. I'd skip...

Have you ever been on Etna? Is it beautiful? Maybe another volcano... What's it like, is there anything to see or is it just a bunch of rocks?

All people who are depressed are just self absorbed and need to get over.

CheckNitout @CheckNitout (853) • United States 16 Dec 06

Now, lets think about this before you reply. I know it has been said that brain chemical inbalance can cause depression and even genetics. But can it not all be cured with a little less selfishness. To sit around all day and...

Logodae Hey CheckNitout, I just wanted to say that I'm really impressed that you've actually revised your views as a result of this discussion. Not many people are willing or able to do that. I also want to say that a lot of the time, there's NOTHING you can do for...

Athiests: What in the #&!! is wrong with you?

chunkers @chunkers (1050) • United States 16 Dec 06

Look, I'm not trying to insult anyone here. I'd just like to know why some of you out there are so damned stubborn (not my first choice of words)??!!!! Those who do not believe in God are always asking for some kind of PROOF...

Logodae Sure. A scientific theory... like the "theory of gravitation" is a theory. Scientists are no longer trying to "justify" it, but rather studying the finer details of how, when, and why. And you don't need to be a scientist to understand the basics. Get to...

Logodae I can't quite tell if this was directed to me or not, but... "1- If nature exists, then who made nature? Gotta be someone or else it wouldn't exist." If God exists, then who made God? Seriously, why is "God" the only thing that's allowed to exist...

Logodae Well, polygamy is more complicated, but yes, I think it should be legalized. Incest, on the other hand, is a bad idea for a number of reasons -- and as far as I know, there aren't a contingent brother-sister couples who are going to be demanding their...
