In our country, a bill is being passed, it is about anti-corporal punishment. I am open to spanking a child in the proper way because it's Biblical. But of course i am against maltreating a child, like pinching or kicking him/her...

Modesta I can't argue, because I haven't got children yet but I think spanking can teach children nothing.

Modesta I think corporal punishment mustn't be used. Parents should talk to their children and explain them what is right and what is wrong. Only then their children will respect them.

Modesta I choose "The Lord of the Rings" because it is really great book. It is the best book I ever read. And "Harry Potter" is for children.

The Silmarillion Movie

Seriously if you haven't read this book by Tolkien you are missing out its really good. It would make a really good movie if adapted right.

Modesta I like "The Silmarillion" and all Tolkien's books very much and of course I'd love to see the movie. But I don't think it will ever exist.
