taiwanlife @taiwanlife (745) • Philippines 5 Aug 10

I have been out from a long time relationship already for almost two months but the emotions are still high. I opted not to talk to friends so much coz we have the same set of friends accumulated over the years. Even my family, I...

MrShaunB I'm only 23 but i've had two 2+ yr relationships. In both of those situations it felt like it took forever to get over the person I was with at the time. Mostly because once you spend so much time with someone, everything reminds you of them so they are...

If you are going into a relationship, what would you choose? Someone who is older than you or would you prefer someone who is younger than you? If I were to choose, I'd really like guys who were older than me because I think...

MrShaunB It is very important that you both love each other. But love is the result of actions that derives from selflessness and willingness to forgive and forget. I believe that age does coincide with the level of maturity a person may have. Mainly because the older...

Do you enjoy "alone" time?

lacieice @lacieice (2059) • United States 4 Aug 10

I've just spent the last five hours alone. I loved it. Quiet. Peaceful. Calming. Hubby is retired, so he is always around the house. Today, he is helping our daughter with an errand, and I am loving it. I get very little alone...

MrShaunB I was in the middle of responding to this post when I looked at the time and saw I didnt have much of it to make it to Radio Shack to buy something important. If I were not alone, it may have been much harder to do so. Like anything else, "alone" time has a...

MrShaunB All of the advise you have received that has encouraged you to leave is the best thing you can do. You dont have to explain yourself any further than the truth will allow. As long as you have told him exactly how you feel then there is nothing more to be said....

Should there be any problem in converting people to your ideology?

headhunter525 @headhunter525 (3548) • India 3 Aug 10

In one way or the other we all get converted or try to convert people. We teach how to eat or read or play or think or solve sum etc. and this comes about because we were first taught. And this is all part of conversion. So...

MrShaunB Conversation is a vital part of growth and understanding. If the result of sharing information results in the conversion of a person's beliefs and understandings then so be it. However, ideas should never be imposed in the sense that it is a form of violence....

How often do you get up in the middle of the night.

kingparker @kingparker (9672) • United States 3 Aug 10

I think that becomes my daily sleeping routine. I wasn't sleep walking, I just felt like my body internal clock is working when it gets after midnight. Usually after 1 or 2 o'clock. I will wake up in the middle of my sleep, and I...

MrShaunB In my opinion, this feeling is a result of feeling the need to satisfy all of life's issues at the same time. Having 24 hours a day is the result of the solar system around us and we are aware that this is something we cannot change. What we can change is the...
