Hi! I would love to know what kinds of programs are out there, preferably inexpensive programs, like Photoshop that I could use to create cover art for stories, etc. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!...

Prince_Joy me too prefer photoshop.. but gimp is freeware. i use flash and coreldraw too.. but they are expensive..

Prince_Joy i dont build sites, but i design sites.. for years am in this designing field. I use photoshop fot this and hand over the graphic elements for implimentation

Prince_Joy Photoshop and coreldraw are differeny in many aspects.. coreldraw is concentrqted on vector graphics and photoshop in raster or bitmap images.. even if the latest versions of photoshop can handle vector graphics, that software is intended for bitmap images.....

Prince_Joy I use photoshop CS2 for image manipulation and graphic designing. i also use Flash, illustrator and corel draw. Photoshop is very friendly and easy and very poserful.

Prince_Joy just find some nice online tutorials.. itz very easy to learn photoshop by urself.. if u are familier with the menu u can learin photoshop in a few weeks..

Prince_Joy I am not using photoshop for editing pictures.. am a pixel graphic artist and so Photoshop is a great package for for me.. also i use Imageready for testing my animation sequence.
