I live in an apartment and do not have a yard. I really want to grow herbs and some vegetables this year. Can anyone suggest techniques for a successful garden grown in pots on a patio?

RTJ1937 Check out your local hydroponics store, gardening stores or do a few searches on the internet. It's all there. Everything from high tech to the basics using (cheap) recyled soft drink bottles. Start simple. I'm using a bubble systems in rubbermaid storage...
