Back in October, I had this brilliant idea to get ahead of the holiday chaos and ordered custom Christmas cards early. I was feeling pretty proud of myself—like, Look at me being all organized and prepared! My plan was foolproof:...

A few months ago, I decided to get some additional earlobe piercings, because why not. I have always wanted some when I was younger, but my mom would kill me if I did. I figure now that I am an adult who has her own money and...

@n.J @Raine38 Filipina professors, Pinoy language center owners, and goal-oriented people now surround me. They are extremely humble Pinoys. I felt God orchestrated everything to pull me out of a situation that was not good for me.

@n.J @Raine38 In hindsight, I would not have been able to meet my people if they had not done that to me. I am in the process of healing. I no longer see them in my dreams anymore haha.

@n.J @Raine38 Yes, they ganged up on me. I did not just distance myself from them; it was friendship over. My husband also warned them that he would report them to the authorities if they didn't stop. This may sound condescending. They came from a destitute family...

Yumeko @Raine38 that's true, that could be a deal breaker for some people.. i guess it's okay if he's being a good dad to his kids and on good terms with their moms. but as you said - does he really have time for dating considering all that?
