Promises are made to be broken?

what do you think is the reason why people make a promise and then they broke it?

SAdave1 I think that mostly people want to keep their promises, but then either forget or something happens that it doesn't happen. I really believe it's not malicious in most cases.

SAdave1 wow! you are very good! Afrikaans has its origins in the Dutch language, mainly.

SAdave1 I wouldn't have a problem kissing my partner after she had given me a bj. I think it is only fair - if I expect and enjoy her kissing me.

SAdave1 I am so sorry to hear about what happened to you! I suppose a huge salary cut is better than being retrenched, but I can only imagine how scary it must be! All I can say to you is that you and your family will be in my prayers - that you find a better job...

What are you going to do to celebrate the New Year?

I am probably going to have a barbeque with my family, just have a quiet day to reflect on the past year and think about the new year to come. What are you planning? It will be interesting to hear from people all over the world...

SAdave1 Yep, that is the best thing to do, I think. We live such rushed lives that it is good to relax and think from time to time.
