Experiences with Suite101?

SaraCate @SaraCate (184) • Canada 2 Feb 07

Hi all, Has anyone here worked with www.suite101.com ? It's a "get-paid-for-articles" type site. My biggest cause for hesitation is that I can't seem to find clear compensation guidelines. It's a "base reate + pageviews...

Justareceptionist That's a horrible base rate. At associated content I've had a TOTAL of 283 page views and have made over 40 dollars from my articles. Although they don't pay for page views, it just goes to show you how an offer can go a long way.

GnosticGoddess The possessions isn't really a big deal to me deep down. The things I really want to do are travel extesively. I think it would be facinating to study personally other cultures and religons. Or at least see lots of really cool places. But it costs so much...

inked4life Your views are not only old-fashioned, but ridiculous. I have been a stay at home dad for 8 years. We believe that it is very important for one of the parents to stay home with the kids and as my wife is the major bread winner, it made sense for me to do it,...

emeraldisle I'm curious as to what practices you are talking about. It would help if you'd clarify that. Also most large companies won't make a product if they can't find a buyer for them. Whether it be Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart, Sears etc. They need to have someone...

An Interesting Observation - Responding Without Reading

misskatonic @misskatonic (3722) • United States 3 Jan 07

So I posted a discussion on being frustrated with anti-smokers making generalizations. The title was tongue in cheek - a parody of exaggerated complaints. And yet... Close to half of the people who responded responded based...

usmcprincess Ok I have read these responses, and I think if you read a post with a title that upsets you then you should read all of it or move on to another topic. If you do not read through the entire thing then you are left with absolutely no clue as to what the person...
