Thebickster The answer to the last part of your question is "NO". The exhaust leak will only cause annoying noise. If the leak were on the intake manifold, that would be a different story.

Thebickster Most likely your fuel pump is going bad or the sock in the gas tank is plugged up. Either way, you have to remove the gas tank to repair your problem.
