Is it ok to say, "I don't know" during an interview?

If I don't know what the answer to a question is,can I say I don't know or should I absolutely think of an answer? For example the question being,"why do you want to work here." Thanks for your answers!

Tina1995 I think that's the worst possible answer. If u say I don't know the interviewer will eventually assume ur not taking this seriously and OTC that's the last thing u want I think u should have a list or a plan of what ur gonna say or what u might say before...
