Nachos with refried beans and salsa make my mouth water.

WebMann @WebMann (4731) • Canada 19 Jan 07

My wife doesn't like trying new things if she is the one that has to prepare it so one of my specialties is Nachos with salsa, lettuce and refried beans. First, I make a salsa that is as simple as it gets. What ever portion...

samsonskola @samsonskola (3357) • United States 19 Jan 07

I love my iron skillet and love to cook lots of great dishes in it...why do you reach for your iron skillet instead of another? Do you use it only for 1 dish, or many?

Do you let your child walk home from school or the bus - Are they home alone?

ShadyGrove @ShadyGrove (996) • United States 17 Jan 07

I have always been there, or else my husband or mother, when the bus picks up in the a.m. and when it drops off in the afternoon. Even though my boys are 11 and 13 now (and ride different buses as one goes to an elementary school...

Kids = Built in Babysitter

sproutz @sproutz (260) • Canada 17 Jan 07

What do yuo think about kids who are used by parents or relatives as built in babysitters? Do you think it is fair to the child to tack such a responsibility on them? Do you think the child will be more likely to rebel?

siblings

Wendy1694 I think if you ask the child if they will watch the other one then that would be fine but I don't like it when the kid is told they have to take care of their brother/sister. I think they may rebel if they are made to do it and not asked.
