I know from a discussion on here ages ago, that you CAN ask to be transferred to someone who speaks english, or back to America, but I wish that America would stop outsourcing on customer service calls and just keep the calls here...

SpikeTheLobster It makes me laugh now. No stress, no pain. Mostly because I *know* they wouldn't dare do anything legal about it... sure, I owe them some of the money but they've messed up SO badly (like still owing me about a year's insurance payments) - and they know it -...

SpikeTheLobster I don't care where they send my call. I've called centres at various times and often have more trouble understanding the ones in the same country as me (UK) than the ones abroad. It makes no difference at all WHERE the centre's located - it's the incompetent...

echomonster San, unfortunately when you fight in another country you actually still get paid in your home currency. In other words, if you go to Romania and start fighting you'll actually have to go back to India again to change the rupees you earn back to gold. The game...

echomonster Hey San. Unfortunately, consuming goods is the only way to increase your wellness in Anno. Wellness does decrease over time which is the main reason I think houses are the best way to keep your wellness up -- they give you a bonus every day that offsets the...

echomonster Why do you say you can only buy shares with euros? Shares are actually always priced in gold. Maybe you mean that the only way you can get gold quickly is to deposit euros first and then sell them for gold? I'm worried we're talking about different things...

echomonster Oh, it sounds like Bulgaria has a high slave tax so you can't make a profit unless you sell a slave for more than 0.10 gold...that's bad! In the US the slave tax is just 0.01 gold so you can make a profit as long as you sell a slave for 0.02 gold or more....

echomonster You can lock slaves so that they can't be attacked (click on "Fight" then "Slaves" and then "Block") but this is quite expensive...I think it's usually 0.1 euro (real money) but it depends on the percentage of slaves who are locked at a given time. The more...

echomonster You can increase your wellness by buying things in the market (click on "Goods" from the main menu). Ignore what it says about magazine articles because they no longer give wellness, just information. So you can increase your wellness by buying food, wine,...

echomonster Well, it's hard to hold slaves...any other player can attack them and win them over unless you pay to lock them. So I usually sell them as soon as possible since I can usually make 0.03 gold per slave; the slave bonus in the US is pretty low, lower than it...

echomonster Well, to do anything on Anno you need to earn some money. So start fighting...you'll earn from fight bonuses and collect slaves. I usually sell the slaves (for 0.03 or 0.04 gold) after capturing them, but you can also hold them if you want. (If you try to do...

MysD Polls/surveys get deleted. Quality discussions stay put. If a toic is asking 'what do you earn?' or 'what do you spend?' then it is a poll and therefore a violation.
