Why we called Valentine's Day?

Today the first question that strikes me is that "Why we called Valentine's Day?". I think it should be lovers day. But!!!!. Any idea anybody?

all_alone ohhhhh it was a a very nice time to know about valentine,till now even i was blind to think about this. but that sounds great when we hear for which is hiding back of our history.... thank you, but i wish that every one should know about this and stop playing...
