Is a Ebook better than a normal book?

skr3wed @skr3wed (147) • Vietnam 27 Jan 11

Well, whats better, I have a Itouch which i currently use apple's Ibooks app, but I'm still quite new with it. Is it really that great, or should I get a alternative app? Anyways, what would you prefer buying, a physical book...

antarcticpostcards I prefer buying actual books because I can buy them at the local used bookstore cheaper than ebooks. I do not like that ebooks are almost as expensive as the new price of real books. Apparently, the value of the paper the book is printed on is not much. I see...

Harry Potter a children's book?

shattered @shattered (1728) • Philippines 6 Dec 10

Someone once told me that the Harry Potter series was supposed to be a book for children, I haven't read the book but I've watched the movies. Judging on the movies alone, I find it hard to believe that it was really meant for...

antarcticpostcards Well, it really was written for children. Sure it gets darker as the series continues, but so do a lot of other kids books, especially when they start getting into the teen books. It really just depends on the kid. There are plenty that can handle the whole...

antarcticpostcards Law and Order SVU seems to be the only one I tend to watch regularlly. I record LA, but mostly do not end up paying attention to it when I watch it and end up doing other things and not really care, as it just has not caught my interest the same as SVU.

Publishing with Lulu.com

Vegtamr @Vegtamr (82) • Italy 28 Oct 10

I was thinking about publishing a book with the website www.lulu.com Ok, "publishing" is not the right word, I know: Lulu.com is a print-on-demand site, but let's say "to publish", 'cause it's simpler. Of course, I read...

antarcticpostcards I have used Lulu in the past for a photo book. I was pleased with the quality of it. Also, did some calendars that came out good. I forget how long it took for them to be delivered, but I want to say a few weeks.

marcialoyd @marcialoyd (1173) • United States 5 Oct 10

I want to write an article about why you should keep a weight loss blog to help with your weight loss goals. My question is can I include a link to my own weight loss blog or is this against Associated Content rules? Thank You!

antarcticpostcards Honestly, I never bother to go back and read a book after I have seen the movie. However, I often delay seeing the movie in order to first read the book. Overall I prefer reading books, as I get much more entertainment and enjoyment out of it.
