Hi I'm wondering if there are mature folk on this site or is it predominately a younger peoples place and are you all from USA. Just interested?

Do you like to watch horror or comedy?

manya_pearl @manya_pearl (1901) • Singapore 23 Feb 08

For me i like to watch comedy than horror, because if i watch comedy, i will feel relax. If i watch horror, i feel a little frustrated because the story is "too much" in visual and scenes. I watched some japanese horror movies,...

beegeeda Give me a comedy any time. Laughter is the very best medicine. There is enough horror just reading the newspaper most of the time.

what would you like to learn

bgerig @bgerig (1258) • United States 25 Feb 08

If you were to go back to school now....whether that be elementary, high school, trade school, college / university, what would you like to learn that the schooling you did get did not prepare you for?

beegeeda Hi bgerig Having been in religious boarding school most of my life, I would say LIFE in general. All the everyday things that in a cloistered environment one wasn't exposed to were quite a shock to the system, however I must say that you soon learn, and find...

Born with it or learned behavior?

jillhill @jillhill (37353) • United States 23 Feb 08

Do you think we are born with our personalities basically in tact or do you think that part of who we become and how we handle life is to do circumstances that happen to us along the way. I think it might be a combo...but then...

beegeeda I think we learn what we live and if our family is dysfunctional in any way.Hopefully when we watch other folks behaviour (particularly they we admire)we can mould ourselves into something better. Having said that though, we can't go through life blaming our...

whats your favorite thing about yourself?

kymommy72 @kymommy72 (588) • United States 22 Feb 08

I like that I am a good listener. People come to me to talk and they know that I really care about what they are feeling or the problems they are having. I think they feel they can trust me with what is on their mind. I like that...

beegeeda My favourite thing about myself would have to be how I've weathered life,s storms (and there has been a few)coped with losing a son and have picked myself up and moved on. Not getting bogged down with worry, moving through it and getting on with your life. Not...

beegeeda Oh carolbee how wonderful for both of you to have a friendship that is so obviously very dear. One learns soo much from different people and to my mind that diversity is what makes life so interesting. When I was young my best friend was a special some-one...

beegeeda To be a great listener is to care and show interest in whatsoever is being said. A really good trait to have. I currently am in close contact with someone whom doesn't hear what is said unless their ears have picked up some subject that is interesting to...

winterose @winterose (39884) • Canada 27 Jan 08

there is an employee at work that you do not like, she never talks to you but she talks to other people. You find out that she has been falsely accused of making a mistake at work that could cost her her job. You know for a fact...
