I have a friend who is volunteering at a battered womans shelter... she needs to teach them basic life skills... I am assuming that means how to get back in the world, hold down a job, live on their own etc. She is having a hard...

cherhost Thanks hun! If there was some way I can do this during the work hours where I live I would do it too... But they are very strict and want a plan... I will just keep looking and try to help her out. The problem is what should she teach them first!

Ok ladies or men... who ever mops the floors in your house. what kind of cleaner do you use??? I use spicand span but looking for a new kind. Oh and yes it is pouring here and I mopped my floor... kind of defets the purpose...

cherhost I do a good scrub like that about every 2 months... other then that i get the mop and bucket and go to town. well I dont really see dirt being moved around. I mop it pretty well, one section at a time and rinse the mop out all the time. but i do see where you...

cherhost You know what is funny... We only got one together. The first one he was over there and the second one is the one we got celebrate. I dont think we will get to celebrate the 4th one either... It just makes our time together more special!

Hey girls! Well I just looked at the LES and man it is so diferent then the last deployment. Now here is the question... it is always going to be a lot higher the first of the month and not so high at the end of the month? Ours...

cherhost Well I guess I will got up and ask... I dont want to sound stupid to them tho. It is just a huge increase and then it to go back to that... and there was only one extra pay on it... I guess I will google it. I will let you know what they say in the morning:)

cherhost Yes Lexi is that girl that he met. But not sure if it is Merediths sister. One may never know. This is a soap opera so it is very possible that she has had this long lost sister. WHo knows.

cherhost THanks sweetie! I love it when I hear that other famiy members are really feeling it too... just because it seems most of it is dropped on a spouse and that is it. So now you have a different perspective of it. It is hard but just as long as we all stick...
