Hi, I have had fish tanks in the past and when I've cleaned them, I have ended up killing my fish. Can someone out there let me know the proper way of cleaning my fish tank, it's very dirty

chillirose yeah, that part I pretty much know about, but, what do I use to clean it with, as in, cleaning products, do I treat the water, etc.....
