Do you think Apple's new Magic Trackpad is a better alternative to mouse?

Apple today released the Magic Trackpad: http://www.apple.com/magictrackpad . Do you think having a trackpad is better than using a mouse for desktop computers? I, for one, prefer using mouse even for laptops.
