TessWhite @TessWhite (3146) • United States 15 Mar 09

My son called me tonight, frustrated. He and his now ex wife have had a bad habit in the past of getting meals on the go, or fixing separate things for the children to eat. The problem is his 7 year old will now only eat a small...

ElicBxn A child will NOT starve his/herself. If she won't eat, fine, there is no reason to let her get away with the bad behavior. Tell her, fine, you don't have to eat, but you do have to sit quietly at the table while the rest of us eat, and NO, she's not getting...

onewickedsoul I shop in different stores where there are sales. I also go to bargain stores to buy giveaways to my little nieces and nephews. For me, it is not how expensive the gift is, it is how you think the person will have a use for what you've given him/her.

Toddler gets kicked off airplane

ersmommy1 @ersmommy1 (12587) • United States 25 Jun 08

Most toddlers are not good fliers. At least not in my experience. But after reading this I was shocked with the treatment this poor lady received. As the American Eagle flight headed down the taxiway, two-and-a-half-year-old...

DaddyOfTheRose The little guy has a disability and that is unfortunate. However, everyone on the plan would have to deal with his antics and I'm not sure they would be capable of this task. Certainly, you would not want a pilot distracted or frustrated while at the controls....

Lavender_Breeze Personally, I think they did the right thing, barring the announcement of the 'woman with a child....' over the intercom. That was not necessary. Just because the child has special needs does not make it right for everyone on board to have a miserable...

ShealM Actually, the WHO (World Health Organization) recommends minimum of 12 months and up to 24 months (ages 1 and 2 years of age). The benefits of extended breastfeeding past 6 months of age are the same as up to 6 months of age. I've been breastfeeding for 15...
