this is something that's really annoyed me lately. adverts for incontinence products that make out that it's perfectly normal to wet yourself when you laugh or sneeze. the Tena lady adverts are particularly bad. "go on....

darberg Yes, I have seen the commercials and have thought the same thing. Anyone who must use these products now, probably do so because they must but, they would have grown up knowing that weak bladders are not the norm and their use of the product is a last resort....

darberg Everyone needs a place they can call their own. When the stress of work and every day living catches up with us it's important to have somewhere to be alone and gather ourselves together again. Thanks for sharing.

darberg Yes, I have a friend who had acupuncture sessions once a week for weight loss. It helped but he gained it back within weeks. He is from a family of slightly overweight members. They are just a bit above normal weight but he wanted to get rid of the excess....

darberg I stay up till about 1:00 or later reading much of the time too. It seems it's the only time I have for reading any more. I like to spend my late nights quiet and alone. It helps me unwind from a busy day.

Have you ever noticed that the label on the outside of a sleeping pill bottle warns us that the pills will make us sleepy?

darberg I hope this happens for you and you are able to visit while the new baby is still tiny. My niece just had her first baby yesteray. She lives in Michigan which is a 5 day drive from where I live so, it won't be real soon before we see them.

darberg Hmm. My mistake...that's what happens when I read too fast. It's still great though. I was thinking that 24 lbs. in one week was a miracle.

darberg I find I have to use meds to help me sleep sometimes. It took a while to get used to it but using ear plugs helps me a lot and I do seem to sleep better with them. I find it hard to pace myself. I forget to do it until it's too late. I used to use muscle...

darberg I have always read before going to sleep. If I don't read, I can't sleep. It relaxes me and sometimes I don't realize how late is has become. I am lucky I work from home so I don't have to worry about being late for work and getting fired.

darberg Like you, I prefer the natural remedies to prescription drugs. Because I decided not to take drugs, I no longer qualify for disability even though I cannot work. I write and sell my art to help suppliment our income but it took 9 years after I quit working...
