Hey, I just got mentioned on the radio!

The Horse @TheHorse (241178) • Walnut Creek, California 19 Sep 19

Yeppers, I gave in and donated to the NPR radio station that comes in clear as a bell here in Pleasant Hill CA. They even pronounced my name (not "Horse") right. The station broadcasts from Sacramento CA, I believe. They play...

Michelle Renee Kidwell @Michellekidwell (29948) • Sonora, California 18 Sep 19

I can’t draw worth anything but Little Miss certainly has talent in that way, she sketched this beauty in a matter of minutes, before starting on her homework because I generally give her free time before starting on her...

Two Knoxville police officers save a man who tried to end his life

George B Vieto @Deepizzaguy (126577) • Lake Charles, Louisiana 18 Sep 19

Song of the Day: Independence Day

Michelle Renee Kidwell @Michellekidwell (29948) • Sonora, California 18 Sep 19

This song deals with the very real issue of spousal abuse! The song is of course sung by the amazingly talented Martina McBride, and came out in the 1990’s! Independence Day is not a happy song, but not all songs are meant to...

Is 24 hours enough for your stuff?

Simone @Janet357 (75540) 18 Sep 19

24 hours is relative short for busy people. When you say busy, you need to take a break from your stuff to make you more productive. To be honest, 24 hours is not enough to do everything we want to for the whole day. Internet is...

DEBJANI BASAK I think 24 hours is enough to do lot of things if you don't waste it. You should understand the value of each and every minute.

Have women really come of age in teaching?

Jordan Campbell @jordancampbell (14) 18 Sep 19

These days, lady teachers are in hot demand. They rub shoulders with male teachers. I feel gender discrimination is hardly perceivable or palpable in the domain of modern education.

Has the internet enlivened democracy?

Jordan Campbell @jordancampbell (14) 18 Sep 19

Do you like the UN?

Robin Pathan @Entrygrand (25) 18 Sep 19

I think that the UN has done a great service to the people of the world through its peacekeeping missions, international deliberations and the like. But, the UN has to walk the talk on a multeity of issues and matters.

Why is Malaysia favored tremendously?

Robin Pathan @Entrygrand (25) 18 Sep 19

Malaysia beckons tourists throughout the year. Very few countries could come close to Malaysia when it comes to tourism. I feel that the nature spectacles of the country have taken it to a new level.

2 responses

DEBJANI BASAK I think it is the cheapest one. So tourists mostly prefer to visit Malaysia.

Do you wander in the streets often?

I love to wander in the streets when I do not have anything constructive to do. I love the sights and scenes of cities. Wandering in the city streets helps me to relax.

Steampunk Music Video Abney Park Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

Arthur Chappell @arthurchappell (44550) • Preston, England 18 Sep 19

The Chitty Chitty Bang Bang theme in the original movie is quite fun, and this Abney Park steampunk spin on it is quite faithful to the tune though with a darker edge to it. The video is quite silly, with the Abney Park car not...
