I think the director was very right in choosing tom as forrest....no one could hav done the role in a betr manner...his alabama accent really proved the point...anyone thinking anyone other than him could have done the part...

demonichackers I think he was perfect for the role. Every time I see the movie I shed a tear. It's such an inspiring story and I think he did a great job at playing forest.

demonichackers I encourage you strongly to try and quit. It is a horrible habit that really does kill you every time you put one in your mouth. Thankfully, in Connecticut, smoking is banned in public places. I hate second hand smoke. It is just as bad, and kills children...
