I just bought an AcerAspire 4517z laptop. It has a Core Dou T2310 processor running at 1.46ghz and is 32/64 bit. However when I run the software CPUZ, I noticed that it was labelled Core 2 Duo. I am puzzled becaouse it is...

drmega0226 CPU-Z is correct. The T2310 is a merom based Coore 2 Duo processor. Not all the T2xx's are Core Duo. The Pentium Dual-Core T2320, T2330, etc.. are all Core 2 Duo chips wih less cache. Jut as the new Celeron's are now based on Core 2 archetechture.
