Do you skip your lunch or dinner sometime to blance your diet?

Sometime people skip their lunch or dinner to balance diet. Like if someone eat a lot in a party or eat a lot unhealthy (but testy) food, then they try to skip the next day's lunch or dinner. Do you do that sometime?
