egeckardt People feel empty because the world be live in is artificial, superficial and materialistic. In short our culture sucks. Just knowing that takes a lot of pressure off ones shoulders, because it is not your fault.

egeckardt Neither, they are both very superficial goals. Try to be something positive and put out something good. Make your life make the world better. Selfish goals never accomplish this.

egeckardt I agree with you Druid. But I would like to add that the trash culture that you speak of was done intentionally. The quality of our culture is not important to our elites. Profits drive everything and you are seeing the results.
