Did you use Pampers, Huggies, Luvs, a store brand or something else? How did you decide which ones to get? Were you loyal to one brand or did you tend to buy the cheapest/what was on offer?

xtedaxcvg I'm really not sure. Maybe I'll choose between Huggies and Pampers. I really want to get the best quality for my baby and money is no object when it comes to him/her. What do you guys recommend?

I know time outs are very common these days, they're the favorite method of supernanny and nanny 911. Some people prefer spanking to discipline, although I understand that is a very controversial topic. Other techniques include...

discipline

parenting

meandmy3 It depends on the situation and what is going on with my children. For the most part they lose privileges and or toys. I also use time out and yes my children have been spanked. Again it all depends on what is going on and what the offense is

LOL Everytime I hear her name I cringe because she doesn't ever say anything that makes sense and here's another prime example: "I don't really like to think of it as a murder. It was terminating Tiller in the 203rd...

katran Umm, I think that was her point, ZephyrSun. She was being ironic/sarcastic. Probably because SHE doesn't understand why it is NOT murder when it is a fetus but it IS murder when it's an adult. I am pretty sure she is not condoning his murder here, only trying...

It has come out recently through a report by Tom Coburn that a lot of money from the stimulus plan is being squandered on what seem like pet-projects. Obama told us that if we passed the stimulus plan then unemployment wouldn't go...

ParaTed2k Obama sold a package that would "jump start the economy". Last I checked, jump start means an immediate reaction. Not only was there no immediate reaction, the lying sack of maggot sinews never intended it to do so. The Stimulant Package was nothing more...

Can anyone here tell me what Obama's definition of success is in Afghanistan? For years the incompetent press dogged Prs. Bush with questions about the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Some of the questions were legitimate, and...

clutterbug What I kept hearing when Pres. Bush was in office were people crying every single day to bring the troops home; constantly they bashed Pres. Bush on this subject, and now with Pres. Obama, we don't hear a peep, no one is crying about it now. I don't get it....

This always seems to be a contentious issue for parents. I've come across many parents that say they will never use pull ups because the kids just think that it's a diaper and they use it as such. Plus they're expensive when...

4blessingsmommy Hi! I am the mommy of four children, and I would have to say that for two of them I used pullups and for the other two I had to limit their use. My oldest child and my third child really took to potty training. They loved their pullups and didn't want to...

AithneFireStorm Furthermore I believe Obama has created a debt that not even our kids and grandkids will be able to pay off! He is digging us further into debt and is making a healthcare plan comparible to England's which will deny life saving procedures to those over a...

clrumfelt I don't think the stimulus plan is working in the way it was sold to the American people. Unempolyment isn't going down, jobs are not being created on any scale that will balance those being lost daily, the stock market is in a major correction at present and...

foursox212 I think unemployment is actually worse then that, they're just behind the 8 ball. No, IMO the stimulus isn't working and will not, He's trying to get history books written about him like FDR, which FDR's government programs didn't work either. So now we build...
