foxybrown by the way, may i just add....according to my dog trainer, bassets are basically stubborn and hard to teach new tricks for some reason.

foxybrown Martha almost bit my fiance on his face while hugging her. since that day we sent her out to the garage. if ever the day comes that she bites really deep, though just the thought of it pains me, we'll give her away. :(
