Shasta @garavegeta Actually I'm not referring to my own personal belief, but I'm wondering if you were talking about a certain religion. I didn't want to make any assumptions. I'm most familiar with the Christian (or "bible God" as I call call him/her) since that's...

sirnose What is god? I think in the scheme of things the main thing about what is a god or a creator is what we can see around us. for example the air, water, lower and higher life forms, etc. To know what we call god or creator we have to think outside of the box to...

adforme You can't always see bacteria. I would imagine your dog has a healthy looking tongue. Some breeds have tongues that are darker in color than others. Perhaps your dog has a tongue that is looking less worn for wear, and is in tact with a healthy color. I guess...

dorannmwin I really don't think that a dog's tongue is really any cleaner than the tongue of a human, in fact, I believe that the dog's tongue is probably a lot dirtier than the tongue of a human. The reason that I think that this might be the case is because of the fact...

Amber Yes, dogs tongues are cleaner than ours for sure. There was a show that tested that theory and come to find out there was 1/2 less germs and bacteria on a dog's tongue than on a human's tongue. Kind of weird, kind of scary. Maybe their diets are better?

MarksvilleandMe Dogs get bad teeth just like we do, so they are't different at all. We clean our tongues to keep bacteria from getting on our teeth and making them get cavities, but still I am glad we don't have to lick everything. So yucky.
