Websites like OpinionPlace.com?

hitzphillygirl @hitzphillygirl (1235) • United States 13 Mar 08

I quite enjoy OpinionPlace. I was paid for the first survey that I did, and am awaiting payment for one I completed last night. I like this website because the surveys are actually quite enjoyable. I know that there's a ton of...

Is it true? First love never dies?

cutiedhes @cutiedhes (507) • Philippines 5 Apr 07

I know it sounds corny but I just want to know if that is true Because based on my experience it was very difficult for me to move on on my first love it takes a lot of years before I can let go of the past and accept the fact...

hitzphillygirl I'm learning that this is very true. I could never see myself with anyone but him. But then he decided to steer me wrong, and so I'm on my own again. But I still think about him every minute or every day.

Which ankle do you put an ankle bracelet on?

Bee1955 @Bee1955 (3882) • United States 4 Apr 07

I was given an ankle bracelet and automatically put it on my left ankle. I was informed (rather rudely), that I needed to change it to my right, because gay women used the left ankle as a sign you are gay! Then another informed me...

hitzphillygirl Those stories are complete BS. I wore an anklet yesterday and I also put it on my left ankle. I'm not gay, and I'm not a slave. I simply like my anklet on my left.

Phlamingho @Phlamingho (7822) • Denmark 4 Apr 07

Is it really free? I can't believe that they offer all that for free!? Free hosting and everything, lots of space and bandwidth... Amazing, so far it looks like it's the real deal... just signed up with them!

hitzphillygirl I think I've used that site before. It's definitely gotta be free. That's really not that much space. I use sites that offer up to 2GB for free.

English grammar

Phlamingho @Phlamingho (7822) • Denmark 4 Apr 07

English is not my first langauge and there's one thing I've never really gotten... What's the difference between farther and further? Please explain and use in a sentence. Thanks :-)

hitzphillygirl I honestly don't think there really is a difference. I use both of those words. They mean the same thing.

hitzphillygirl I've seen them three times (once before they were formally The Wreckers). They're awesome, really. I'm going to see them again in August when they open for Keith Urban.

Do you think Kevin will rejoin the group for their next album?

backstreet boys

hitzphillygirl The album that's about to come out is finished and Kevin's not on it. I think we all hope that he comes back. BSB is just not the same without him. He was the core of that group. But I think his decision was final.

Random Hanson Moments-What Are Some of Yours?

highflyingxangel @highflyingxangel (9225) • United States 29 Mar 07

I was in the shower today, getting ready to wash my face and suddenly Madeline popped into my head and I started singing it. It's been forever since I've heard that song, but it's one of my favorites. Now I have a strong urge to...

hitzphillygirl That happens to me a lot. The smallest things remind me of Hanson. Like, I was eating Starbucks ice cream today and my first thought was, "Taylor!".

"The Walk" release....

lilangelgirly03 @lilangelgirly03 (5) • United States 22 Mar 07

Do you think the release date for "The Walk" was pushed back from March to May (in the US) due to the birth of Isaac and Nikki's first child which could be any day now? It makes sense because once the album launches here in the...

hitzphillygirl Yes, that does make sense. I don't mind, though. I'd prefer the traditional May release. Plus, I caved and downloaded the whole thing already, so it won't be much of a surprise for me.

What One Book Have You Read That Totally Changed Your Life?

browneyedgirl @browneyedgirl (1264) • United States 4 Apr 07

I've read several books that really impacted me. The one that changed my life though, was God Calling. What one book have you read that changed your life or made an impact on you?

hitzphillygirl I don't really read unless I have to... which is pretty much never since I'm not in school anymore. But I have read "He's Just Not That Into You" by Greg Behrendt. It's basically a book full of common sense, but since it was coming from one of my favorite...

Do you like milk chocolates or dark chocolates?

beyondcomparison @beyondcomparison (115) • Philippines 23 Feb 07

I love milk chocolates more than the dark ones. Maybe because I like milk a lot. Milk Toblerone in particular. How about you? Which one do you prefer the most and why?

5 responses

hitzphillygirl I definitely prefer milk chocolate. Dark chocolate (or white chocolate, for that matter) never ticked my fancy much. It just has a better flavor to me.

hitzphillygirl I'm going to be in Sayreville and Allentown. I would've gone to New York, too, but they kind of randomly added on that one and I wasn't expecting it. It'll definitely be fun times, though!
