our 'lovely' roads - This one cost us almost $900 dollars...he hit it, it knocked the car trailer off the truck, the trailer weaved out into the other lane and across the road, it then hit a phone pole, went through a fence and finally stopped on top of a cemetary! The damages to the trailer and the car on the trailer were almost $500 and he was fined almost $400 for the trailer coming loose, luckily insurance is supposed to cover the damages to the cemetary but we aren't sure about that yet...a lawyer said we should fight it and sue PennDOT for the damages but that was going to cost $500 more just the the retainer for the lawyer....we don't have the money. The $900 is equal to one full paycheck net.
