Dandiya Dance - This dance is a mock fight between Goddess Durga and the mighty the demon king Mahisasura and is nicknamed the sword dance. The women wear traditional dresses studded with mirror works and heavy embroidery and men wear turbans and kedias but can vary from region to region. It is a very energetic dance.
