gmail not allow exe file attachment why?

some time we need to send .exe file in attachment but gmail dosenot allow us to do so. even gmail not allow exe file in zip formate. I am surprised with this. that mean we need extra account for sending exe file.

iwyrobi This is only a security issue, to prevent potential virus. Gmail does not accept these types of files, even if they are sent in a zipped format. if you want to send executable file. you can use file shared hosting like rapidshare or turbo upload.
