Why did Marilyn Monroe turn down "Breakfast at Tiffany's"?

jeepstergirl @jeepstergirl (396) • United States 15 Dec 06

Why did Marilyn Monroe turn down "Breakfast at Tiffany's"? Did you know the script was written just for her? Was Audrey Hepburn chosen by accident to play Marilyn's role?

leeesa I completely agree! I can't believe the role was originally created for MM and I think she would have given Tiffany's a bad name.

aaron1 In order to be a better person, you must first define what "better" means for YOU. One of the problems that I see in society is that people are judging others based on a canned set of definitions for concepts that only have a subjective...

freak369 I think most of it was a publicity thing then Kid got caught up in it and fell hard for her. I never followed the 'relationship' but from the pics I saw of them together, you could tell that he was more into her than she was into him. Hey, I could be...

If you were Izzy, would you have cut Denny's line?

jeepstergirl @jeepstergirl (396) • United States 4 Jan 07

At the end of season 2, Izzy cut Denny's lines in order to make him "worse" to get him the new heart. If you were in her shoes, would you have done the same? Do you think it was right for her to do that, or just selfish? What do...

crimsonblues No, I would never have done that in a million years. She didnt do it for Denny. She did it for herself. It was all about HER. She was being selfish and I still cant stand her for it. It was immoral and illegal..She killed him

Have you written your will?

jeepstergirl @jeepstergirl (396) • United States 14 Mar 07

My husband and I have been discussing having a will done. I'm 31 and he's 34, but we both ride motorcycles and I have cancer, so it has become a recent observation that we may not make it to a ripe old age. Maybe a will is not...

Madona1 I thought about your question before. When I talked about it to my husband not long ago, he used silence as a response so I thought it was too early to do so. I am 40 and he is 48. So I think there is no time frame or age requirement to prepare the will,...

jeepstergirl @jeepstergirl (396) • United States 14 Mar 07

My husband and I are writing up wills, and we're trying to decide who we feel safe in raising our children, if anything did happen to us. My mom and biological father do not speak, and haven't in about 20 years, so that leaves...

sunshine4 That is a tough decision to make. My husband and I decided not to leave our children to either of our parents because of their age. If our children were to loose us unexpectedly and we left them with someone so much older they may end up alone in the end after...

Planning your own Funeral

toonatoons i have not outlined the details, yet, but basically, i want a simple funeral. there's just be a mass, of course, and funeral rites, then a small gathering where my family would be serving tea cakes and coffee. i'd want it in the morning, so it's not very hot...

mrsturner I think that it is really important to have a will. Here in Nova Scotia the courts can make any decision they want if you don't have a will - even about your kids. In fact, someone told me that with each child born your previous will becomes invalid, so it's...
