Can a politician be honest? Would you vote for them?

jeffaim @jeffaim (215) • United States 7 Dec 06

It seems that in the United States it is impossible for a politician to be honest and get elected or stay in office. If a politician admits that issues are complex or that there are two sides to be considered, many people will...

ownado Of course there must be some politicians which are honest because it's like this in every job, there are honest and not honest people but I don't like politics because for me (almost) them all are not honest so I don't spend time voting because no matter which...

mcmomss I've worked in several different resteraunts and it didn't seem to affect me as far as wanting to go out to eat. I may not have wanted to go to the restaurant that I worked at. I usually got a free meal when I worked so I had enough of their food and wouldn't...

Simpsons!

What do you think about Simpsons? Which is your preferred character?Bart, Lisa or maybe Homer? Simpsons Forever!

doniker the show was a groundbreaker for adult animated comedy. there would be no South Park, Family Guy, American Dad, Bevis and Butthead, Courage the Cowardly Dog, etc. if the Simpsons wouldn't have made cartoons cool again.

chrisianmusic I feel that as long as we have a two party system (because let's face it, that is what it has come to be), it will never happen. People will lie about their true beliefs just so they can fit into a red or blue crowd and be a success. The one guy who is honest...

jeffaim @jeffaim (215) • United States 6 Dec 06

norteh I think you said it correctly. I could not have said it better. So sorry, no discussion about that. And i think the administrators of mylot invented something which is substainable. That is also good news for the members.
