Skype IMing?

I was just wondering if I can use Skype as an IM program. I've heard a lot of people talking about it like I could, but I'm not sure. Thanks, Luke

jeremywilken The answer is yes it does have an IM feature. Skype is better known for its voice capabilities, but it does allow you type chat. Of course like any service, your contacts also have to be using Skype. Skype is being used a lot by small/medium sized businesses...
