Here is another discussion on someone's star rating having dropped, namely mine. Now I know, that I haven't done anything to offend anyone. I don't enter into discussions which could be considered controversial and the discussions...

Would you negatively rate posts for moral reasons?

jewelenterprises @jewelenterprises (1996) • Australia 5 Apr 08

If a person had done something that you, personally, find morally reprehensible, would you give their posts a negative rating based on a moral objection to the person rather than the actual content of the post? For example, if...

madlees See my score I haven't done anything either.. I have been posting regularly and I have never done any one line too. Maybe my opinion and theirs doesn't match. Those who answered your discussion need not necessarily rate negative, the others can do it. Those...

Glenn Duran I don't think I would rate anyone negatively, besides I tend to think many of the more personal discussions here are not even based on events that have happened to the person posting, perhaps they have heard of them happening to someone else,so I believe even...

phillygirl606 Interesting question, but me I never give negative ratings. Its kind of like it you don't have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all. I just won't give a rating if I find the topic immoral. In my opinion everyone is entitled to their own views and one...

moneyandgc No, I wouldn't rate someone down because their moral code doesn't follow mine. Abuse is different than morals though I think. I don't even rate the discussions negative when I vehemently disagree with them.

Stiletto Well my initial response was going to be no of course I wouldn't negatively rate someone for moral reasons and I can't imagine anyone else thinking it was ok to do that either. Then when I thought about it some more I suppose the honest answer would be that I...

Ruth Belena I think it is an interesting question. I would never give a negative rating to a response just because I held a different view or opinion. If someone admitted to something which is legally or morally wrong, such as the first example you give, I think I would...

madlees Till now I have not done any negative rating to anyone. But I know I have got but what I don't know is the reason for it. Maybe for coming out with my opinions frankly. What one does say or do is their personal opinion. So if they give an opposite version as...
