We all plan various things in our lives. At times we challenge our friends for doing or for not doing certain things.
These challenges can be interesting at times and at times they can be just for fun.
But I personally feel there...

There are billions of people on this planet. But interestingly there are only a handful of them with whom you tune instantly and this tuning goes (can go) on for long period of time.
I have seen a few friends here on MyLot with...

pumpkinjam I don't use/do some of those things anyway. Unfortunately, not using the Internet for one month would mean having to take a month off work!
I only use Facebook and WhatsApp. I only use WhatsApp because of a community group that insists on using it. Hopefully,...

pumpkinjam I think an instant connection is very rare. It can take time to develop a connection, and many people seem too busy to take such time. Some people also judge quickly and incorrectly. I know I used to be quite shy, which some people equated to being boring....

There was no answer yesterday when I called my husband a couple of times; and he did not call me.
My husband's second cousin made all the copies that I'll need to file the next appeal. I doubt we'll win; but we had to try.
We...

I was at the post office and bought one stamp a couple of days ago. I could hardly believe it..73 cents!! Now that is ridiculous! It would be one thing if we were getting good service, but mail delivery in this
state is notably...

pumpkinjam If I've calculated/converted correctly, our stamps cost more. The 2nd class stamp would work out the equivalent of a few cents more, I think, but the 1st class stamp is more than double. Ours have increased five times in three years. I have the same issue as...

Do you think silence is the best answer for someone who doesn't understand your feelings, who ignores you..As far as i am concerned silence is the best answer.
If we keep silent, we can avoid many problems.
What do you think so?

pumpkinjam If you're being ignored anyway then it is probably best to not bother. Saying that, it can sometimes be better to talk. If you can get the person to at least listen so you can explain any problem and talk through it. If you've tried and the situation stays the...

Good day to you all. I think I might have mentioned that I was going away for a few days with my husband. Well, we arrived home on Thursday. We spent three nights in a beautiful 18th-century hotel, and we spent the days exploring...

Hi My Lot friends
I was a way for a while and have just come back. Hope everybody is doing well and kicking.

pumpkinjam Everything is getting more expensive. I am not getting poorer. My financial situation is the best it has ever been. We can afford some luxuries by saving. I say saving but my husband and I have been very poor. We still live like poor people in some ways so...

I was texting a friend about trying to clean my apartment, and she suggested writing things down so that I could keep track of what I was doing.
The list I wrote down it pretty basic, but it's what I want to get done--hopefully...

I'm serious. He actually said that. Where are his campaign people and handlers? What the hell is he thinking? And he has the audacity to say that Kamala should take a mental competency test.
While speaking at an event in Detroit...
