Do you read a book just once?

Amy @artemis432 (7474) • Abernathy, Texas 15 Aug 07

Do you read a book just once or do you return a few years later and read it again? I re-read my favourite books every few years - many times I get something else out of it - each time I read it - what about you?

Spanking IS ok

sunshinecup @sunshinecup (7871) 22 May 07

There is no conclusive evidence that spanking your children will teach them to be violent and/or create misfits adults. In fact the whole notation of not spanking your child, is based on ideas (pushed by the media) and...

To the stay-at-home-moms: What made you decide to stay home instead of work?

dimplesnlaughs @dimplesnlaughs (835) • United States 21 May 07

Ever since this graduate school ordeal has been stressing me out, I have seriously had thoughts of just becoming a stay at home mom. I'm the type to get bored doing the same thing over and over at a job. To all of you who are...

petbedcity Yep. It was real. There were apparently more than one bear at one point. The others talked about them. I seem to remember that the Darma people were doing animal experiments a long time ago.

desertdarlene Actually, the polar bear is real. I think Jacob might be something, but I don't know what. If he wasn't real, then Ben could have set up a booby-trap to kill Locke. Therefore, Ben must really think someone was there.

roquelaure if you watch the high def version of the episode on tivo/dvr and go through it frame by frame while Ben is talking to Jacob, there is a brien flash of a man sitting in the rocking chair! (No, I didn't do this, but the frame is on tmz.com's Lost Blog)

KaraLee There is also a slow motion clip here on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=479HkrFTZiI. It comes complete with the close up which everyone is referring to as "the eye", Jacobs pressumably.

Tyler7777777 yea that was my first thought when they put Sawyer in the cage too. I don't think Ben is fiction, hopefully they will unveil it before the season ends because I can't wait all summer.

McDonalds or Burger King - which is your favorite!

PsychoDude @PsychoDude (2013) • Netherlands 4 May 07

Out of these two major burger palaces, which do you prefer to get your juicy hamburgers from, or salads if you're a veggie and dare to enter a burger palace. Myself my choice goes out to Burger King, for the hamburgers simply...

judyt00 With a few exceptions we love the same books. I hate Anne Rice and wasn't thrilled with Dan Brown or Nora Roberts, (but I'll read them if I find them cheap). I'd add the Odd Thomas series by Dean Koontz, in fact anything by him and anything by Charles de...
