Obama doublespeak... Car insurance is required for all Americans.

ParaTed2k @ParaTed2k (22936) • Sheboygan, Wisconsin 10 Sep 09

Supporters of mandatory medical insurance laws like to cite car insurance laws to back their points. However, the analogy doesn't really work. Why? Because there are no laws requiring everyone to have car insurance. Yes, there...

bonbon664 To me a better analogy would be that a portion of your property tax goes to pay for public schools. It still does, whether or not you have kids. So, how come you can't elect to not pay for schools?

All We Ask is for Obama to be Treated Like Everyone Else

ParaTed2k @ParaTed2k (22936) • Sheboygan, Wisconsin 28 Jul 09

All other presidential candidates have had to prove their eligibity. When any of us want to work, one of the things we have to prove is our eligibility to legally work in the United States. There are only a few documents that are...

Swashbuckle @Swashbuckle (305) • United States 10 Jul 09

Well, brought on by hfahctor. Thanks friend! I just want to say that racism is a stupid arguement used to accuse people who have real doubts about some people and their policies as a way to make said people to shut up. I think...

Ann Coulter, Words to live by?

ZephyrSun @ZephyrSun (7381) • United States 25 Jun 09

LOL Everytime I hear her name I cringe because she doesn't ever say anything that makes sense and here's another prime example: "I don't really like to think of it as a murder. It was terminating Tiller in the 203rd...

andy77e Um... she was being sarcastic. The point was that murder is murder, regardless of age. What is a fetus? It's a baby human. That's all that it is. Coulter was not saying that murder is ok. She was saying if you support murdering baby humans, why not adult...

bestboy19 Ann Coulter is saying a human life is a human life, inside or outside the womb. She is giving the same excuse for Tiller's death as mothers who kill their babies through partial birth abortion give. Why is it murder when it's a human being outside the womb,...

Intelligent and Sensitive Abortion Discussion On The Daily Show

anniepa @anniepa (27943) • United States 19 Jun 09

I've taken some flak in the past for using The Daily Show as a source (YES, I DO know it's fake news!) but on last night's show I saw one of the most respectful, intelligent and sensitive debates on the subject of abortion I have...

anniepa You are right that "It is wrong to kill disabled children or poor children AFTER they are born, and it is still wrong if we kill them before they are born." I've said that late term abortions should be legal only to protect the life or health of the mother or...

Why are the so-called Gods so wary of Idol worship?

cannibal @cannibal (650) • India 15 Jun 09

As an atheist/agnostic, whatever lil' I've studied and known about world religions, I've known that many so-called religions are grossly against the practice of idol-worship. If that is so, I must pity those religions and their...
