kevs4jc OK. If she's serious about it, go for it. I mean, age is catching up on her... thirty six years... Why not try it. I think its weird, might not be appropriate, but, who says there is a rule against it?

why do we fell soo sorry for ourself?

douglasdedwards @douglasdedwards (120) • United States 7 May 10

I was thinkin why do we feel so sorry for ourself, i think self pity is a useless emotion. its for one thing tiring, it take all of our joy and energy to bring it out. how can we replace the void that self pity drains from our...

kevs4jc I don't like self pity or feeling sorry for ourselves either. What I would try to do is discipline myself not to feel sorry for myself. Its hard to do. But once done, it really feels nice. it makes us see clearly of issues. Self pity I think can stem out...

white lies.....

munach @munach (49) • Philippines 7 May 10

Would you say white lies to someone you love so that you will not hurt him?

lies

8 responses

kevs4jc For me... I might not. I don't like lies. What I would do, probably is to put the truth to the person I love in a very polite and friendly manner. Because, if You love that person so much, why lie to Him?

kevs4jc This experience of yours is really funny. But here in our country, it can be said to be normal really. But we are really good to tourists. Only when we deal with locals in supermarkets, that can be a normal scene. But nowadays, many cashiers in plenty...

Life is like a roller coaster.

megamatt @megamatt (14289) • United States 6 May 10

Life being like a roller coaster is a very accurate statement in my opinion. I mean there are high points in life and there are low points, much like a roller coaster. Not to mention without the low points, life would not be life,...

Do you still have time to thank God for all the blessings you received?

munach @munach (49) • Philippines 6 May 10

Most people nowadays are so consumed with all the needs and wants in their lives. We just remember our Almighty God whenever we are in trouble or whenever we want something. With the fast-paced time,do you still spend a little time...

kevs4jc Yes, I do spend time to thank GOD for the Blessings I receive. But sometimes, it can become, like, too common for us to say it. And then we could loose touch on what we are saying to GOD. This is a good lesson, for all of us. We should try and thank GOD for...

How far are you willing to give for the sake of friendship?

careguarden @careguarden (5670) • Philippines 6 May 10

kevs4jc Good Question. Well I believe, it depends on the type of friend that I am willing to risk or give my life for. If it is a very close friend, then I believe, I probably could. But if it just a friend I came to know just an hour ago, then, I would probably...

Can you believe anyone in the media?

petersum @petersum (4522) • United States 6 May 10

I am getting sick of hearing nothing but lies on the TV news. Yesterday, in Athens, three persons died in the riots. Very sad but was it true? A petrol bomb was thrown into a bank. This is where common sense should click in!...

8 responses

kevs4jc I think the media, sometimes, can overstretch the "truth" in a story, in order to make it interesting. You are true, that we should use common sense when we hear or view news through the media. If a story is too good to be true, then don't believe straight...
