What movies do you think are absolutely beautiful to watch? I am not necessarily talking about movies that have plots that you like or great characters, but rather movies that you could still enjoy even if you had the sound turned...

LuvBr0wn13s It stars Robin Williams, Cuba Gooding Jr and Annabella Sciorra. It is about life after death. At the heart of the story the man loves his wife so much that he leaves heaven and goes to hell just to find her.

There are books we come across that are boring/ not to our taste/ just plain stupid. Did you continue reading a book that you disliked in the beginning? Was it out of boredom or just to find out how it turned out in the end? Do...

sunsham68 No, I understand what you mean. Its hard to get through somethingwithuot relating to it. I can't even watch a movie that I don't relate to, and that's supposed to be so much easier than reading and that too, to study!

DoriLentrich Neil Gaiman, Edgar Allan Poe, and a long list of others. But those are the two who will stop me in my tracks if a new book/edition come out. (Poe may have been into supernatural writing, but I don't think he's practicing it.) For me these two encapsulate...

SpikeTheLobster I will read just about anything to try to find good authors: I figure anyone's worth a shot, to see if they write well. Two authors spring to mind as favourites, though. If I see a title by Carrie Fisher, I'll always pick it up. She writes really well and has...

scarletwitch12 I agree with darkjedi. I think the only time a flag should be burned is if it is too old or ragged to be used. No matter how much we try to justify whatever it is that we are fighting for, burning a flag (whether it be your own or someone else's) is totally...

Just an Ordinary Owl? Burning a flag is as symbolic as the flag itself. As a flag is simply a piece of cloth, burning it does nothing more than pollute the atmosphere a little. There is no one special flag as, for example, there is a 'Liberty Bell' (though even that is cracked and...
