Free Your Closet, Free Your Mind

leeesa @leeesa (884) • United States 26 Apr 07

You know the saying about pets looking like their owners? Well how about this? Does your closet look vaguely similar to your life? If your closet has accumulated excess baggage, then it is probable that your life has too! Most of...

kingparker wow, actually, that is a good metaphor, and I like what you were saying here. To let go something of the past, to focus on the present is more important than anything else. Giving your memory some space, and some freedom to do what you do in the present. I...

Read the book, or wait for the movie?

gitfiddleplayer @gitfiddleplayer (10362) • United States 25 Jul 08

I'm a movie person, if I see a book that's going to be made into a "Major Motion Picture" I'll just wait it out. Some movies don't do a book justice and people pick the movie apart and sometimes ruin it for me. I did make the...

Saying "I'm Sorry"

zandi458 @zandi458 (28101) • Malaysia 5 Sep 08

Difficult, isn't it, to say we are sorry, especially when we know we are in the wrong. I keep thinking about the varying degrees of recalcitrance when it comes to this and wonder why it should be. All it really requires is a...

leeesa @leeesa (884) • United States 5 Sep 08

lordwarwizard @lordwarwizard (35747) • Singapore 31 Aug 08

Is it Winter yet? Isn't it still some time away? A peculiar trend I have noticed over the time I spent at myLot is that the population here seems to dwindle at the transition point between end-month and month-start. Responses...

Are you tailored to suit your job?

zandi458 @zandi458 (28101) • Malaysia 5 Sep 08

One wonders whether there is such thing as job satisfaction. Very few seem to have found the job they want or like. People are dissatisfied, they have very little choice, usually taking what is available as a matter...

Do you think or JUST DO IT?

lordwarwizard @lordwarwizard (35747) • Singapore 29 Aug 08

"Just do it". I am sure this is a relatively familiar tag line for many myLotters. Credits to Nike. What kind of person are you usually? Are you one who is "ruled" by your heart or your head? Are you a person of action or...
