Can milk and fruits go together?

I love drinking milk at any time of the day. I love eating fruits too. Some say drinking milk and eating fruits at the same time is bad for the stomach. Is this true? If i ice blend fruits and milk, is it bad?

leigh3 I make my kids "milkshakes" with frozen strawberries and skim milk all the time and they've never had a problem. We add bananas sometimes too.

If you could go anywhere in the world for a week -- all expenses paid -- where would you go? I think I'd like to go to St Thomas. We were there for a day as part of a cruise. I really would have loved to stay for a while.
