lilmsinterpreted a friend who's a computer geek actually told me that vista slows down your computer by 10%. my new laptop came with vista and it takes FOREVER to load - considering i don't have that much files in it yet and i'm already working with an intel core 2 processor....

Would anyone know if it's possible to have microsoft word for my vista processor? A lot of my documents are still in Word and not a lot of people have Microsoft Works so it's really such a big hassle to use it. Help please! :)
