I personally prefer that indie bands stay as indie because whenever an indie band goes mainstream, they sort of lose the cool indie factor. They become celebrities and there's so much hype about them, it makes me lose interest in...

phatelara :) No worries about giving me what I want to hear. I don't stop liking any band just because they've gone mainstream, but some bands do change their genre to suit the music market. Like you've said, it is up to us to like or dislike them. Thanks for your...

goldeneagle I don't because I don't usually itemize my taxes. I would do it if I itemized, though. I don't see a problem with it. My wife doesn't think we should, but I don't see what the big deal is. So what if Uncle Sam has to give you back a little more on your tax...

meggan79 I don't at the moment, but I do plan to start. You are thinking of the negative side of it, but you have to also look at the positive side. The money you can get back from the government is just more than you can give again. It is kind of like the government...

I've noticed a rash of what I consider to be abusive behavior involving parents, particularly mothers, and their very young children, infants, even. One instance was a young mother, who appeared to be a teenager, slapping her...

trish32 I agree with you that not all young parents, or even the majority of young parents are abusive to their children. I think that, like you said, it's much more a matter of upbringing, life situations and morals. I, too, was young when I married and had my first...

foxyfire33 Well, you'll have to post a photo of her new look so we can all see what an awesome job you did! It might seem like a "girly" thing butI think it's really sweet. A lot of guys wouldn't have even remembered enough to drive their wives to the beauty shop or that...

foxyfire33 You might want to just get your own account. Sharing is against the guidelines and if you get caught...which is likely since you just outed yourself, you and your wife won't be able to post here anymore. It's possible people didn't respond to your discussions...
