Is it safe to inform people of your IP address?

I have tried to take up tasks i see here on mylot and on microworkers. Some of them though ask for your email and even IP address. What could they possibly do with those things? I don't think it's safe... Please tell me what...

lolitacool Hi, You can give your Ip address,It's not a problem.I gave my Ip address to all who asks me.they can find only location ans ISP provider details using our Ip in some site like

I am trying to figure our a major problem and want and need to change my Ip address but I cant seem to. Either I am not understanding what type I have or my wifi on my hp pc is messing with it. I dont know hellllp.

lolitacool Hi, you can find type of Ip you are using by reseting the modem .first you can find your Ip using http://www.ip-details.com/ and then reset the modem then check the Ip of your computer If it is same It is static Ip address or It it is Dynamic Ip address.You...
