mamarama From the news report, Britney hired a full-time nanny to take care of her kids. I find that sad, how she's got all this money and can afford to raise her kids, but chooses to hire someone else to do the 'job'.

mamarama For some in the black community, yes. But I know quite a few blacks who don't appreciate the 'n' word being used--no matter how it's being used.

mamarama I agree; the 'n' word is one I don't use anymore because there are smarter words to use against a person. Slanderous words are supposed to be already against the law to use in public, so why a ban against this particular word?

mamarama I agree that money would be wasted trying to enforce a banning of the 'n' word. Money would be better spent on cultural education and teaching people to respect racial differences in people.

mamarama I've always used the word in the context of its dictionary definition. I don't think I've ever used it, though, on a black person because I think it just brings up a whole can of worms. I have used it on white people in the past. Though, nowadays, I'm older...

mamarama Freedom of speech doesn't pertain to slanderous talk in public. Slander is never legal in public. I think Jesse Jackson is bringing this issue up to stir up trouble and so he can be in the limelight once again.
